Once again, we passed the time bridge
For as long as we live

For it's a long way to go
Through thick and thin
We made no mistakes
Only lessons to be learned

A brand new year is here
Waiting to bring the best out in us

I can see the sadness in our eyes
No matter how hard you try to hide it
I can see despair in your smile
No matter how smart you try to disguise it

The more I see you
The deeper the pain I feel in my heart

Where are you?
Where is your lost soul?
Where am I?
Did I ever abandon you?

I can't be your saviour
I will never be
Or I choose not to be
But for now allow me to pray
Wishing it will be okay
